Supercam UAVs participate in scientific research of the Nakhimov Naval School

Unmanned Systems Group has delivered the UAV Supercam X6M2 to Nakhimov Black Sea Higher Naval School to generate an experimental UAV sample on its base.

The UAV Supercam X6M2 is equipped with 6 electric motors, and possesses compact dimensions (the cross-sectional dimension amounts to 1 meter). The copter stays in the air for up to 60 minutes and conducts real-time monitoring at a distance of up to 7 km at any time of the day and in adverse weather conditions.

The UAV has lightweight construction made of carbon and composite material, so it can be transported by any vehicle to the place of operation. Thanks to the built-in autopilot and automatic flight task planning, the human factor in the UAV operation is completely eliminated.

As a payload, the complex includes a controlled camera and a HD video camera on a gyrostabilized platform. The complex can be used for mapping, searching, detection and tracking of static and moving objects in real time, monitoring of emergencies, alerting the public, etc.

Unmanned aerial vehicles manufactured by Unmanned Systems Group, both fixed- and rotor-wing types, combine unrivaled tactical and technical characteristics as well as the most advanced technologies. For several years, specialists of the Nakhimov Naval School have been using Supercam UAVs for performing applied and experimental research.
